When you've made the leap but still feel where you came from

I punched a clock for years, and now I sit in the meetings I used to think weren't for people like me. I made the leap, and I hold my own in this world. But sometimes in a room full of people who grew up expecting this, I feel the old floor under my feet, and I wonder if they can tell where I came from.
