When dream sharing groups become psychologically unsafe

A few of us friends started a dream journal sharing group to explore the spiritual dimensions of sleep, but one person keeps interpreting everyone else's dreams in this really invasive way, and another person shares dreams that are clearly about trauma but won't acknowledge that. It's become uncomfortable but we all want the connection and exploration.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

Intimate sharing about unconscious material requires boundaries that the group hasn't established.
