My partner works night shifts and I work days, so we're basically living in different time zones in the same house, and it's destroying both our sleep and our relationship. We've tried to make it work individually but we never see each other, our circadian rhythms are completely off, and I don't think either of us is getting quality rest or connection.
More people experience this than they realize.
External work demands are creating impossible circadian conflicts that individual adaptation cannot solve.
