When siblings disagree about caring for aging parents

My brother and I are supposed to be making decisions about our aging parents together but we have completely different ideas about what 'taking care of them' means and we keep talking past each other. He thinks I'm being controlling and I think he's being naive and meanwhile our parents are caught in the middle of something they didn't ask for.

More people experience this than they realize.
