When couples attend different churches and avoid talking about growing apart spiritually

My wife and I have been attending different churches for the past year because we couldn't find one that worked for both of us, and now our kids are asking why we don't worship together anymore and we realize we've been avoiding the conversation about what we're actually seeking. We say it's just about 'finding the right fit' but I think we're becoming different people spiritually and neither of us wants to name that out loud.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

You're both changing in your spiritual lives but treating it as a logistics problem rather than engaging with what these changes mean for your shared journey.
