When divorce support groups become echo chambers that avoid real examination

Three of us are going through divorces at the same time and we started meeting to support each other, but I'm realizing we've created this echo chamber where we just validate each other's anger instead of actually examining what we each contributed or learned. I want us to be more honest but I don't want to lose the only people who understand what I'm going through.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

The comfort of shared experience can sometimes prevent the difficult work of honest self-reflection that real growth requires.
