When community inclusion work falls disproportionately on those most affected

I'm the only person of color in our creative collective and I'm tired of being the one who has to speak up about representation issues, but I also can't just ignore them. The group wants to be inclusive but nobody else takes initiative on these conversations, so it all falls on me and I'm burning out.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

Someone finds themselves carrying the professional burden of addressing systemic issues because their identity makes them the only one who consistently recognizes the problems.
