I'm the only person of color on our leadership team and when issues around race come up in our organization, everyone looks to me to have the answer or take the lead, but I never signed up to be the diversity spokesperson and I'm tired of being the only one who seems to think this is a problem. We keep having the same surface-level conversations while the actual dynamics stay exactly the same.
