I've been the 'practical' voice in our social justice organization for years, always pushing for realistic goals and sustainable strategies, but lately I wonder if I've become the person who talks everyone out of being bold. The newer members have ideas I keep shooting down as 'unrealistic' and I'm not sure anymore if I'm being wise or just scared.
