My business partner handles all our client relationships and I do the technical work, but lately I've noticed that clients defer to him even when they're asking about my area of expertise, and when I brought it up he said he hadn't noticed and maybe I'm being too sensitive. I don't think he's doing it on purpose but I also don't think he understands how this dynamic affects our partnership and my authority with clients.
