When business partners disagree about employer responsibilities and worker expectations

My co-founder and I both believe strongly in worker rights, but now that we're actually employing people I'm realizing we have completely different ideas about what our responsibilities are as bosses versus what we can expect from our team. She thinks I'm being paternalistic when I worry about burnout, I think she's being exploitative when she talks about 'everyone stepping up.'
