When multiracial organizing groups clash over strategy and tactics

My community organizing group includes people from different racial backgrounds and we keep disagreeing about strategy - some want to work within existing political structures while others say those systems are designed to exclude us and we need more confrontational approaches. We're united on goals but our different experiences with institutions make it hard to align on tactics.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

Activists discover that their different relationships to power structures, shaped by racial experience, create strategic tensions that threaten collective effectiveness.
