My creative partner and I are working on a project about resilience and survival but we're realizing our trauma histories are showing up in our artistic choices in ways that conflict - they want to focus on triumph and healing while I need to include the ongoing struggle and complexity. Our different relationships to our survivor identity are affecting every creative decision.
