My partner and I both identify as cisgender but we've been having conversations about gender that are making me question assumptions I've held my whole life about what that even means. They're further along in examining their relationship to gender norms and I'm realizing how much of my identity I've built around being 'just a normal woman' without ever thinking about it critically.
