My research partner and I are studying inequality and we're supposed to be applying rawlsian analysis, but we come from very different class backgrounds and I think that's affecting how we interpret the thought experiment. She sees certain inequalities as justified that I think violate the difference principle, but we haven't figured out how to address this directly.
