When team members take disproportionate credit for collaborative work

My research team has one member who consistently takes credit for collaborative work in presentations and with external partners, but when we've tried to address it directly, they get defensive and say they're just being a good advocate for the team. The rest of us are tired of having our contributions minimized, but we also need to maintain working relationships since we're stuck together for two more years on this grant.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

A group is struggling with how to address a member's behavior that undermines collective recognition while maintaining the relationships necessary for ongoing collaboration.
