My work team launched this big LGBTQ+ inclusion initiative and I'm the only openly queer person, so everyone keeps looking to me to validate their efforts, but honestly some of it feels performative and I don't know how to say that without becoming the difficult one or having to speak for all queer people. We're supposed to be collaborating but I feel like I'm carrying something alone.
