Our community organizing group attracts people who want to change the world, but we all perform this version of ourselves that has everything figured out politically and emotionally. When someone shows uncertainty or admits they're still learning, there's this subtle judgment, and I think we're losing people who could contribute but don't feel radical enough or put-together enough.
More people experience this than they realize.
