Our environmental justice organization is trying to decide whether to accept funding from a foundation that has some fossil fuel investments in their endowment and it's splitting our group apart. Some people say we can't be pure about everything and need the money to do the work, others think it compromises our integrity, and we're stuck because we all came into this with different relationships to compromise and different levels of economic security.
