Our neighborhood organizing group started because we all felt invisible to city officials, but after our recent campaign win, some members are getting invited to official meetings and advisory boards while others aren't, and it's creating this split between the 'inside' people and the 'outside' people that's changing how we see ourselves and each other.
More people experience this than they realize.
Victory has stratified the group into those granted access to power and those still excluded, fragmenting their collective identity.
