When community groups lose cohesion as members' life stages diverge

Our neighborhood organizing group started because we were all young families fighting the same battles, but now some people's kids are grown and others are dealing with teenagers and a few are getting divorced, and the 'we're all in this together' energy that made us effective is fracturing as our lives diverge.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

A community organization is losing its shared identity as members' individual transitions create different priorities and perspectives.
