Our project team includes people who are comfortable challenging ideas directly and others who see that as personally aggressive, and we keep having these meetings where some people shut down while others get frustrated that we're 'not being honest.' We're supposed to be collaborative but we haven't figured out how to handle the fact that we have different cultural approaches to conflict.
