When worker collectives navigate ideological differences

Our worker-owned cafe collective started with six friends who all had similar politics, but as we've hired more people the conversations about wages and profit-sharing have gotten more complicated because not everyone shares our anti-capitalist framework. We want to stay true to our values but we also want to be inclusive of people who just want a good job.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

Growth is forcing the group to examine whether shared politics are necessary for shared ownership.
