When workplace Pride planning reveals generational divides in queer activism

Our workplace diversity committee is planning Pride Month activities and there's this divide between the younger queer employees who want more political content about current struggles and those of us who lived through earlier eras and have different ideas about what workplace Pride should look like. Everyone means well but we can't seem to bridge the generational gap in approach.

What we've seen

A group is discovering that shared identity doesn't automatically create shared strategy when different generations bring different experiences of struggle and progress.
