When workplace Pride committees disagree about corporate sponsorship

Our workplace Pride committee is fighting about whether to accept sponsorship from companies with questionable records on LGBTQ+ issues, and it's exposed that some of us see Pride as celebration while others see it as protest, and we can't agree on event planning because we fundamentally disagree about what Pride should be. The deadline is approaching and we're more divided than when we started.
