When your discussion group gets derailed by some members' emotional processing

We started a book club to discuss racial justice but every time we read something challenging, the same two people dominate the conversation with their guilt and the rest of us end up managing their feelings instead of having the discussion we came for. I don't want to blow up the group but this isn't working.
