Scenario

When parent-child sacred rituals outgrow their original form

My teenage daughter and I used to have these Sunday morning walks that felt sacred to both of us but now she's busy and I'm busy and when we do walk we both feel the pressure to make it meaningful instead of just letting it be what it is. I don't know if I should push for us to restore the rhythm or let it naturally evolve.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

Forcing the return of outgrown rhythms can kill what made them alive in the first place.
