When families can't agree on healthy technology boundaries

My teenage kids are constantly on devices and I keep trying to set boundaries but I'm also completely dependent on my phone for work and social connection and they call out my hypocrisy every time. We're all living these parallel digital lives and barely connecting in person and I don't know how to model something I haven't figured out myself.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

Parents and children are struggling with the same tools but at different life stages, creating a shared blindness where no one can lead because everyone is equally lost.
