My teenage kids are way more engaged in activism through TikTok and Discord than I ever was at their age, but I worry they're getting radicalized by algorithms and echo chambers while they think I'm too slow and compromised in my approach to change. We all want justice but we can't seem to find common ground between their digital-native organizing and my preference for traditional community building.
More people experience this than they realize.
