When friend groups struggle to coordinate support after a death

My best friend's mom died two months ago and our friend group has been trying to support her, but we're all handling it differently — some of us want to give her space, others want to be around constantly, and I think we're actually making things harder for her. We love her but we're not coordinated and I'm worried we're overwhelming her when she's already overwhelmed.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

Good intentions without communication can create chaos exactly when someone needs predictable, thoughtful care.
