When families struggle to plan for Alzheimer's together

My mom was diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer's last month and my dad is insisting he can take care of her by himself while my siblings and I think he's in denial about what's coming. We're all trying to protect each other and mom, but we're not actually planning together and time is running out for the conversations we need to have.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

People who love someone are discovering that their different relationships to hope and reality are preventing them from creating the support she will need.
