When extended families have different cultural expectations about marriage boundaries

Our son married a woman from a culture where the extended family is much more involved in daily decisions than we're used to, and now we're all navigating very different expectations about boundaries, visits, and involvement in their marriage. We want to respect their choices but we also feel like we're walking on eggshells and don't know what our role is supposed to be anymore.

What we've seen
