When creative partners have conflicting artistic visions during production

My collaborator and I started this documentary with the same passion for the subject but now we're editing and I want to let the silences breathe while she wants to keep the energy moving and every cut feels like we're making different films. We haven't said it out loud but I think we're afraid one of us will have to compromise our entire vision.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

Two artists discover their shared passion masks fundamentally different approaches to the work itself.
