When creative partnerships lose their sacred dimension

My writing partner and I started this novel as a kind of prayer, a way to explore what we couldn't access alone, but somewhere along the way it became about our egos and now we're both protecting our 'vision' instead of serving whatever wants to emerge through us. We used to feel like we were channeling something larger and now every scene feels like a territorial dispute disguised as artistic integrity.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

The collaborative vessel that once held something transcendent has contracted into a space where individual will competes with surrender to the work's deeper intelligence.
