When creative teams struggle with misaligned project priorities

Our design collective keeps saying yes to projects that excite some of us and drain others, and we've never figured out how to have the conversation about what kind of work actually feeds our souls versus what just pays the bills. Three of us are burning out while two others are energized and nobody wants to be the one to say we might want different things now.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

A collective is fracturing along the invisible line between survival and artistic fulfillment, with members afraid to voice divergent needs.
