Our book club chose to read about environmental philosophy but every discussion becomes my friend lecturing us about degrowth economics while the rest of us feel guilty for not being radical enough. We wanted to explore these ideas together but it's become a hierarchy where some people are more 'enlightened' about nature's value than others.
