When diverse comedy groups lose their cultural edge to play it safe

Our improv group used to seamlessly blend our different cultural backgrounds into our scenes but since two new members joined we keep defaulting to the safest, most generic humor and I can tell we're all frustrated but no one wants to be the one to say that our comedy has gotten boring and culturally sanitized.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

The group's attempt to be inclusive has paradoxically flattened the very cultural richness that made your comedy vibrant.
