When teaching partnerships become comfortable hiding places

My teaching partner and I have been co-facilitating workshops for three years and we've gotten really comfortable with our rhythm, but lately I'm realizing that I might be hiding behind our dynamic instead of actually growing as a teacher. She's naturally more confident and I find myself just following her lead, but I think we're both starting to notice that I'm not really showing up fully and it's affecting the quality of what we're offering together.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

Two educators must navigate the tension between collaborative flow and individual growth when one partner realizes they've been avoiding their own development edge.
