When parent and child are both in therapy and struggling with boundaries

My teenage daughter and I are both in therapy for different reasons but some of our issues overlap and I don't know how much we should be talking to each other about what we're working on versus keeping our processes separate.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

Two people are individually working on healing that inherently involves their relationship with each other, creating questions about privacy, responsibility, and shared truth.
