When parent and teen clash over note-taking and organization methods

My teenage daughter and I are both trying to get better at organizing our thoughts and commitments, but our approaches to note-taking reflect deeper differences about how we process information and what feels overwhelming. I'm methodical and comprehensive while she's intuitive and visual, and when I try to help her with study strategies it becomes this clash about the 'right' way to capture and use information that neither of us knows how to resolve.
