When perfectionist parents and teens amplify each other's impossible standards

My teenage daughter and I both have perfectionist tendencies and we're caught in this pattern where we push each other to achieve but also create impossible standards that leave us both exhausted and disappointed. I want us to find a way to support each other's growth without the constant pressure, but I don't know how to change what feels like our natural dynamic.

What we've seen

Two people sharing the same wound are unconsciously reinforcing each other's suffering rather than healing together.
