When parent and teen disagree about ending family therapy

My teenage daughter and I have been going to therapy together for the past year to work on our relationship, and we've made real progress, but now she wants to stop and I'm terrified we'll slide back into the same patterns of miscommunication and hurt. I don't know if I'm being controlling by wanting to continue or if I'm right that we're not ready to go it alone yet.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

The fear of losing progress can become its own obstacle to genuine healing and autonomy in relationships.
