Our book club started reading about trauma and stress biology and now every meeting turns into this intense processing session where we're all sharing our stress responses and triggers. We came together to learn but somehow we're activating each other more than we're gaining wisdom, and I don't know if we should lean into it or create better boundaries.
More people experience this than they realize.
Educational exploration has inadvertently become group therapy without proper containment, creating more dysregulation than understanding.
“Where Are You with Stress — the psychology and biology?”
Peri can explain why this happens, help you decide if this is the right situation for you, and point toward the right journey or coach.
If this sounds familiar, the Library can help you find the bigger picture.
