When spiritual practice groups struggle with changing membership

Our meditation group started with eight people and now we're down to three, but instead of adapting to being smaller we keep trying to recreate what we had before. The remaining members have gotten closer but we're all carrying this sense of failure about the others leaving, and it's affecting the quality of our practice together.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

A community is grieving its former self instead of discovering what it could become in its current form.
