Our study group started with everyone bringing their own note-taking style and it was supposed to be this rich collaborative environment, but instead we spend half our time just trying to decode each other's organizational logic. Some people are pure minimalists, others are exhaustive transcribers, and I'm starting to think we're all learning less because we can't find a shared language for capturing and building on ideas together.
More people experience this than they realize.
Individual preferences in knowledge capture are undermining collective learning potential.
