How teaching teams can learn from pedagogical differences

Our teaching team started doing collaborative lesson planning this year and it's revealed how differently we all think about learning, but instead of that being helpful it's creating tension because everyone thinks their approach is the right one. We're supposed to be modeling collaborative learning for our students but we can't figure out how to actually learn from each other's differences.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

A group of educators is discovering that their different teaching philosophies create conflict rather than collaborative learning, forcing them to examine whether they can practice the collaborative learning they expect from their students.
