Three of us teachers started a support group for twice-exceptional students at our school but we're realizing we each have very different ideas about what these kids need and our meetings have become more about defending our approaches than actually helping students. I don't want to give up on this but something has to change.
More people experience this than they realize.
A collaborative effort to support 2e students is fragmenting due to fundamental disagreements about educational approaches and intervention strategies.
