When business partnerships strain lifelong friendships

My best friend and I started a small business together three years ago and we're finally making real money but now we can't agree on anything — how to spend it, who does what, whether to hire people — and we're both pretending like the friendship part and the business part are separate when they obviously aren't. We keep having the same circular conversations where we talk around what we're actually worried about and I can feel us getting further apart even though we sit in the same office every day.
