When religious communities divide families along political lines

Our church is splitting over political and social issues and my family is on different sides of it, which means we can't even talk about this place that used to be central to all our lives. Some of us want to stay and fight for change, others want to leave, and we're all judging each other's choices while pretending we're not.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

Sacred community is fracturing along secular fault lines, forcing impossible choices between conviction and connection.
