Our community arts center has been the heart of this neighborhood for forty years and now the city wants to develop the block, so our board has to decide whether to fight and probably lose everything, or take their buyout offer and try to rebuild somewhere else. Some of us think the place itself is sacred, others think the programs are what matter.
